Queen Artemis, Ephesus Asia Minor: Daughter of Zeus and Sister to Apollo. A hunter Artemis is signified with the egg, relative to the Goddess Isis. Carved with the lion and winged goat mythological to the chimera. She carries the zodiac animals on her bosom - her dress represents the fish’s tail (glass slipper) - the foot a symbol of Pisces.
